Micro-cap and small-cap stocks had a great day, seeing the most significant gains in the stock market.

In other news, India’s passenger vehicle wholesale numbers showed a 4.7% increase in the July-Sept quarter, reaching 10.74 lakh units, marking the highest for any quarter.

Wholesale inflation in India continued to stay in the negative at -0.26% for the 6th consecutive month in September, indicating a fall in prices.

The government is mulling over the possibility of introducing another production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, this time for batteries, as mentioned by Union Minister R K Singh.

Additionally, the total box-office collection for the first nine months of 2023 reached Rs 8,798 crore, with expectations that 2023 will be the highest-grossing year, surpassing Rs 12,000 crore in collections, as reported by Ormax Media.

    In February 2006, Microsoft announced that
    it intended to expand its Redmond campus by 1,100,000
    square feet (100,000 m2) at a cost of $1 billion and said that this
    would create space for between 7,000 and 15,000 new employees over the following three years.

    The city of Redmond had also approved a rezone in February 2015 to
    raise the height limit for buildings on the campus from 6 stories to 10.
    The first major expansion of the campus came in 1992, bringing the total amount of office space to 1.7 million square feet (160,000 m2) on 260 acres (110 ha) of land.
    The initial campus was on a 30-acre (12 ha) lot with six buildings, and was able to
    accommodate 800 employees but eventually grew to 1,400 by 1988.

    Able to accommodate more than 6,000 employees, the seven new office buildings
    range from four to five stories and are arranged in an urban-inspired, pedestrian-friendly setting.

    The campus is served by buses to Seattle and some Eastside cities at the

    The campus was originally leased to Microsoft from the Teachers Insurance and Annuity
    Association, a pension fund manager, until it was bought back in 1992.
    Microsoft chose to move its headquarters from Bellevue to nearby Redmond in January 1985, selecting a
    29-acre (12 ha) plot of land that would be developed by Wright Runstad &
    Company. Microsoft initially moved onto the grounds of the campus on February
    26, 1986, weeks before the company went public on March
    13.
