Alyssa Healy Takes the Helm as Captain for Australia’s Women’s Cricket Team
After Meg Lanning’s retirement, Australia has undergone a change in leadership, appointing Alyssa Healy as the new captain and Tahlia McGrath as the vice-captain.
Healy will now take over as the permanent captain in all three formats of the game. Australia is gearing up to face India in a Test match, three ODIs, and three T20Is from December 21 to January 9.

The upcoming multi-format tour of India includes a Test match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, from December 21-24, followed by ODIs on December 28, 30, and January 2, and T20Is on January 5, 7, and 9 at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai.
The Australia squad for the tour includes players like Darcie Brown, Alyssa Healy, Ellyse Perry, and more. On the other hand, the Indian Test squad features Harmanpreet Kaur as captain and Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain, along with other talented players like Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma.
